A Classic Date

It was raining heavily outside. The clock just ticked showing 2 o’clock. I had just booked 2 tickets for Shrek 3. I would be picking her up at 3.30. I prayed hard the rain would stop by then. Later on, I received a SMS from her and she asked to pick her up a little bit later as she had something on. I called her at 4 and she was ready. So I went to pick her up.

Finding her house for the first time was easy. Just a few turns from the main road and there was her house. As soon as I reached her house, she walked out and entered my car. I must say that I was very impressed with her dress up. Long straight black hair paired with a low cut black spaghetti top. She looked very fair and elegant. She wore a pair of blue jeans and a slightly heeled slipper. As for her makeup, she had a slight foundation powdered evenly on the entire face, light blue eye shadow, and drew her mascara and a pair of black iris contact lens. The part that I liked most was her glossy sweet pink lipstick. It wasn’t really pink color but I liked it anyway as the color looked very sweet.

We talked all the time while we were on our way to the shopping complex. I was so immersed into our conversation I felt as though the car was driving by itself. We did not stop talking even more than a minute. When we reached the complex, we continued our conversation even when we were walking inside. I felt as though as our conversation will never come to an end. Eventually, we halt our conversation when we entered the cinema. I was quite focused to the movie and I laughed a lot. My partner on my left laughed occasionally and she liked the part where the baby Ogre appeared on the screen.

After the movie, I treated her dinner at The Egg House. I chose the place as it was quite tidy and not crowded (actually there were just two of us). The food there was not too bad. We chit-chatted a lot; recalling about our university and the times during our secondary school. We enjoyed our conversation. Time flew by and it was time for me to send her home. I talked with her all the way back to her home. Before I realize it, we were already in front of her house. She thanked me before leaving and there was it; my date, my classic date.

The date went smoothly. There wasn’t any hiccup or silent moment. I really enjoyed the date. I’m proud that she gave me the privilege to decide things and to treat her. From my previous dates, some of the girls wouldn’t let me treat them. As for her, she stood gracefully by my side as I get the tickets for our movie. It’s a guy’s pride to be able to date and treat a girl. That’s how I felt when I dated this girl-friend. The best part of all is when she said she enjoyed herself and thanked me. To make up a date is never easy. The guy has to plan, to pick up the girl and treat the girl. However, the feeling you get when you please your date is priceless. This is what I call, a classic date.
