Why Guys and Girls Are Different?

I was browsing through Cathy's older posts and I found this. Please allow me to quote. Hope you don't mind Cathy :) Here it is:

"Why girls get period pain?

and not guys? *because guys don't get period???=.="*

Why women have to bear the pain while giving birth?

and not men?

Why girls have to do all the house chores?

and not guys?

It's unfair, isn't it?

Guys are still being treated as man of the house.

whatever they say, we can only nod and still nod..

DISCRIMINATION *shakes head* "

~Cathy C.

There must be reasons why there are males and females in this world. It's a balance. Let me simplify the main behaviors of both males and females.

Males: strong and aggressive. good at single-tasking.

Females: gentle and sensitive. good at multitasking.

Guys can be a real jerk if they want to and girls can never be a jerk. A jerk is a person who is heartless, merciless, selfish, mean and self-centered. In this world, we need such "jerk" in order to survive. Guys sometimes can be so work-oriented that what they care about is winning and getting the results they want. They would do anything just to get what they want. Girls on the other hand, sees everything in a whole and usually makes decision that benefits everyone. Girls can never be mean human beings like guys does.

I always hear that girls can do multitasking and guys can only do one thing at a time. I can never talk on the phone and chat online at the same time. It's crazy. I wonder how the girls do that. The girls can remember even the slightest detail and guys tend to be forgetful. Yes, guys can be CEO of big corporates. But when you ask those CEOs to be housewives, they would need a chef for the cooking, a babysitter for the baby, an accountant for the bills, a cleaner for the laundry, a maid for the housekeeping, an architect for the furniture and it goes on. A housewife can take care all of these by themselves alone.

Males and Females stand equally in the society. Just that we usually see male faces in the top society doesn't mean that females are not doing their part. Secretaries are usually females right? They organize everything in an arranged manner so that their male bosses can handle those things one by one.

Guys can never be girls and girls can never be guys. So, don't keep asking your partner to be just like you. We are meant to be different so that we can do our part as a family.

So, to answer Cathy's question,

Why women have to bear the pain while giving birth?
Ans: If man were the only one to get pregnant, human would go extinct.

Why? Imagine a soccer fan watching his favorite player scores. Overjoyed, he shouts, jumps on the sofa up and down repeated, hugs his fellow buddies and CHEERS! Later on only he realize he's got a miscarriage yet again.

Why girls have to do all the house chores?
Ans: Guys would start destroying throwing everything instead of housekeeping it.

Male: Just throw it la, we can get a new one when we need it
Girls are more economical and would keep those old stuffs for future use
Female: "Keep the baby cage for our grandchildren"

Guys are still being treated as man of the house.
Ans: Guys can never be man of the house without a woman.

Guys are usually the main bread winner if not the sole one. Being focused on his job, he will need his spouse to take good care of the house.

In the end of the day, there's a saying -

Behind Every Great Man There's A Great Woman. Agree?

Except! Unless! In certain extreme, very extreme rare cases, where such powerful female does exist, then she would be able to be the woman of the house.

Here's a potential candidate:

Future Decision

I've been thinking of whether should I work outside Malacca when I graduate. I think I would choose to work in KL. There are just too many things out there that I want to explore. Should I leave Malacca? I know I'm used to leaving things behind. But Malacca?

Whenever I had long trimester holidays, I would miss Malacca life very much. Hanging out with my friends, going to class (yes, I enjoy the air-cond), tennis, and also get to know new female friends. It's been my long journey to get to know new girls and also to find my Miss Right. I know it wouldn't be easy for me as I'm very stubborn. I'm still learning to cope things and hopefully by meeting my Miss Right, I would be able to change myself to a better person.

Going to work outside won't be easy but it's worth to explore. I've been in Malacca for more than 3 years. Maybe my destiny isn't here? So when I pursue my destiny to KL I won't feel sad leaving Malacca? Hmm.. Maybe there would be a few persons I would always remember. But I always leave things behind and move forward. No matter how, I shall enjoy myself every moment I can.

Happy Mooncake and Lantern Festival!

It was a time I feel young again. Ah! Just too difficult to wake up and tell myself that I'm 24 and I'm very old already. Can't be like a kid anymore. But! During the lantern festival I felt young again, just for that moment though.

We had a small gathering at Mike Lau's house. We ate mooncake and walked around with lanterns. I don't know why Tami said I was so excited to play fire. It was fun, burning some stuffs. I burnt one plastic ballpen :) And I set candles around the house.

I set the candles and they set the lanterns.

Candles on the letter box

I wanted to be artistic in decorating the candles. So I set the candles in an artistic way, angled.

My artistically set-up candle (so proud). Behind is Tami's Myvi.

Artistic!!

This is my best candle set up. I'm bringing attraction to this very useful object.

The very useful object is actually a tong sampah :P

After we ate our moon cakes, we decided to walk with the lanterns. When setting up our lanterns, Xin Yi being so genius asked me to hold the bamboo stick and light it up. She then put hers and Su Peng's lantern on mine. Tumpang mine and they no need to take. But later on as we walk around, she took it and held it most of the time. It does feel nice to hold a lantern and walk around. And I held a small one. Never mind, be a gentlemen and let her take it lo :)

3 lanterns on a bamboo stick. I liked it alot!

Then, Mike Lau saw our 3 lanterns. He, as the host and being kia su doesn't want to lose. So he brought a longer stick and decorated it.

He got a mega long lantern!! O.O

The funniest part is when Fred drove his car and Mike Lau held the lantern outside. It was really funny.

Us walking back to Mike Lau's house

After walking around the small garden for 1 hour and 20 minutes, we finally reached home. Everyone enjoyed themselves. Walking halfway, when the candle goes out we have to reload and put a new candle. We accidentally burnt a few lanterns too. It was fun and enjoying accidents xD

Here are a few frame pics I took from the videos I took with my hp.

Su Peng on the left, Xin Yi in the middle and Tami on the right

All old guys and girls didn't mind holding lanterns.

Yee Wern posed by the lanterns. This pic is nice!

In the end, we burnt our lanterns to set the end of our journey.

I had a fun time hanging out with my friends =)

MMU Closed 2008 Tennis Tournament

It was a very nice tournament. Kai Zhang has proved yet again he's the superman of MMU Tennis Club. Other players performed very well too. I am quite satisfied with my performance against Chong King though I lost 2-6 4-6. I'm happy I was able to return his kick serve. And later on after the match he gave me some advice on how to do kick serve. I'm gonna master the kick serve!

My mixed doubles partner, Marilyn. She was kind of blur during our first two matches. Should be because she's not used to playing with different opponents. But she played very well during our last match against champion pair Edwin & Myra. In the last match, she could drive both forehand and backhand. She ran for the balls and tried to hit all of them. Though we lost, we managed to get 4 points from the seeded 1. I'm really proud of her. Yee Wern was playing on the court beside us and saw how Marilyn played. She was very impressed too. Tami praised on Marilyn too.

It's my pride to train Marilyn and to see her perform well. Even though she still has lots of learn, she's picking up the momentum. I shall continue to train her and play match with her so that she'll improve faster.

Overall, the tournament was a great experience. Everyone enjoyed and had fun. We shall do it again next time.
